Shipping and applicable destination duties are confirmed or estimated in your quote based on your destination. Duties and taxes are payable to local customs and are not collected by shopr.

Do you guarantee the authenticity of acquired items?

Accepted Answer

Every item is authenticity guaranteed: if an item is proven inauthentic by a recognized authenticator, you receive a full refund. Boutique-direct items carry boutique-receipt provenance, included in the service. Secondary-market items are third-party authenticated, with the authentication cost passed through at cost and confirmed in the quote.

What is your policy regarding returns or exchanges?

Before purchase, your concierge checks the merchant's return policy and shares it with you. The standard merchant-policy return process does not limit the full-refund authenticity guarantee in §7. If you cancel before sourcing begins (before shopr. purchases anything on your behalf), you receive a full refund of the amount paid. Returns are possible only where the merchant or boutique from which the item was purchased allows a return. shopr. will process a return only after the merchant has accepted it, and will issue your refund only after shopr. has successfully received the merchant's refund. The service fee is non-refundable. A $100 return-handling fee applies to cover in-store processing and the store visit, deducted from your refund, along with any non-recoverable costs (merchant restocking fees, return shipping, duties or taxes that cannot be recovered). The flat return-handling fee covers your concierge's dedicated in-store return service only when a return is actually processed. It never applies to a normal purchase or a pre-sourcing cancellation. Merchant restocking fees, courier return shipping, and unrecoverable duties or taxes remain separate pass-through costs.

How is my acquisition protected during global transit?

Every shipment includes tracking. shopr. recommends adding shipping insurance offered by the courier (DHL, FedEx, or UPS). Your concierge confirms the option and cost in your quote. Cover is provided by the courier, not shopr., and shopr. does not fund insurance.

How are your proxy service fees structured?

Buy-for-me is a bundled $89 CAD flat fee for online, in-stock orders with no boutique visit, allocation hunt or authentication hunt. Concierge sourcing for boutique, allocation-only, rare or authenticated pieces is 15% on the first $2,000 of item value, plus 10% above $2,000. There is no minimum fee or separate complexity charge. Your concierge reviews your brief and provides a precise personal quote within 2–4 hours. The quote confirms item cost, service fee, shipping, and applicable duties before you decide. Full payment is required before sourcing begins. The online estimator is an initial estimate only; your personal quote is the confirmed amount.

Absolutely. shopr. was designed precisely for this. Whether you face physical limitations, live far from a boutique, or simply prefer a fully remote experience — we handle the entire acquisition on your behalf. You never need to leave your home.

What kinds of items can shopr. source for me?

Accepted Answer

We source virtually any luxury or exclusive item — from Hermès Birkins and Dior handbags to limited sneaker releases, fine jewellery, watches, and rare archival pieces. If it exists in North America's finest boutiques or private networks, we can get it.

Do you serve clients outside Toronto?

Accepted Answer

Yes. While we are based in Toronto and specialize in sourcing from Canadian and North American boutiques, we deliver to clients across Canada, the United States, and internationally. Wherever you are, shopr. gets your item to you — securely and discreetly.

Question 13

Can shopr. source and send a gift on my behalf?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — and it is one of the most considered ways to give something extraordinary. You brief us on the piece; we handle sourcing, authentication, and delivery in full. The recipient receives the item. You receive confirmation that it’s done.

Question 14

Will the recipient know the gift came through shopr.?

Accepted Answer

Only if you’d like them to. We manage every arrangement with complete discretion — or include a handwritten note at your request. Entirely your call.

I'm in the US — can shopr. buy for me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. shopr. buys in Canada and delivers to the US. Duties and taxes are the recipient's responsibility and are explained in your quote before payment.
